I had just stepped away for a moment after a trip for groceries
when all of a sudden, a fuzzy runneth underneath my knees!
Before I could capture the squirmy delight
she had already stowed away all of the food for the night
packed safely 'neath the couch where not a human hand could grip
not even my economy-sized tub of Miracle Whip
But what of my little thief, my thorn and my joy?
Could she be off somewhere else, stealing someone else's soy?
Not at all, as I soon found her in a twinkle
Having the time of her life making the grocery bag crinkle! ;)
